Jeff Rothe is a blogging expert and has given me a ton of tips. He’s got a great arcade collecting blog of his own, specializing in reproduction artwork stories.

Very cool on meeting Sanders! I just shook his hand and told him how awesome of a guy he was accepting Weibe at the SIFF festival here in Seattle last year. Man I wish I could swipe a few Joust strats from him myself. I’m horrible at the game, but I’d love to make it one of my first 5 machines I collect!

I’m actually waiting, as I type this, for the delivery truck to arrive with my FIRST classic cab for the start of my own collection, Donkey Kong! It’s supposed to be here in about an hour or so…I’m so stoked.

As for collecting, I truly envy YOUR collection. Quite amazing!!! I noticed that you have a sales/trades page and it’s kinda tricky to decipher what you may be selling or looking for. In ANY case, being one of the first people online I’ve gotten to know as a collector (sorta, lol), I’d like to know if you’d like to help out a newb collector and possibly have any machines to sell? Email me about that if possible as I’d LOVE to work with you on that!

I’ll be sure to point Steve in your website’s direction. It’s a very cool site, one in which I’d like to put together myself soon. I might just stick with a dedicated myspace page for my collecting.

Wicked score man, I’ve only been practicing less than 2 months and I broke 316K about a week ago @ Ground Kontrol in Portland, OR. I’m headed out there this weekend, and even better….tomorrow I have a near-mint DK (blue), date-of-issue PCB machine delivered! Just bought it, and ready to rawk some scores. I’ll be sure to keep an eye on your scores, sir. I’ll definitely give a run for everyone’s money as I know I can achieve 500k very soon. Especially now that I have my own cabinet finally!

I’ve been getting pointers from the ‘man’ himself, Steve Wiebe. He’s been helping with my technique a WHOLE lot. I met him last month at a local pinball and arcade convention after a seminar he was spoke at. We’re actually headed to PAX (Penny Arcade Expo) in about a month, so it’ll be my first time “hanging” with him.
