Sonya, There could be any number of issues going on. The marquee lights could just have bad ballasts or starters. You could replace the entire light with a small fluorescent fixture from any home improvement store, but you would have to know how to wire the AC power for it. My recommendation would be to post a "Help Needed" posting on the Help and Repair section of http://forums.klov.com. There should be collectors nearby that could help you out. They could also help figure out the sound issues.
Good Luck!

Hey,
I just purchased a Centipede game in great condition...however, I can't get the sound to work. I found the volume control but when I turn it I can just barely hear the sound. We jumped another speaker to it thinking the speaker was fried but the same thing...You can hear it when you initially start the game but then it goes really faint...can you help me w/ this? is there somewhere else to turn it on? Also the marquee light...replaced the bulb only to find it does not work...I'm assuming there is an off switch for that...same thing w/ my Galaga game. I NO NOTHING about these games...just bought them because I we liked them and we have a nice game collection in our basement. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Please e-mail me.

Thanks a lot! I was glad to find them. To be honest the bondo work I have to do on the front is something I'm dreading. I may end up getting a multi-game kit for the Millipede board so I can play both Millipede and Centipede, but I haven't decided yet.

Nice work on the Centipede, especially finding the surprise Millipede board and the Bull's Eye Board too.
