Just completed posting my high scores on my site. Check out the Hi Score Board. On this page I will list all of the high scores I’m tracking in the arcade.
I’ve decided that my scores really stink, so I am going to be focusing on one game per month. This month, the game is Phoenix. I chose that game because it is the only game in my arcade that I do not personally hold the high score in. Sorry Tim, but I just beat your score tonight. My high score now is 28440. Took me many nights trying to beat the old score of 15910 that Tim set. I actually tied it one night. I was letting the alien spaceship get all the way to the bottom of the screen, the still only getting 0000 points for destroying it for some reason. Not sure if this is a programming bug or what the problem was.
If anyone has any Phoenix strategies, or scores that you personally have for your highs, post them as comments to this entry. I’d love to hear how I stack up to better players!

im not sure what to comment on but,i would like to know how i can start up a donkey kong game i like that game but my computer is a windows 98 first edition aol dial up connection so im just wondering if you’d like we can exchange high scores against each other ;ps im fourteen so no need to go easy on me,what do you mean by a website(*optional)
Welcome to my site Joshua! Check out http://www.mameworld.net to see some information on a program called MAME that you can use to run Donkey Kong. If you download an older version of MAME, it will run better. My MAME machine in my arcade runs Windows 98! I’ve had it for years. If you get it, be sure to tell me how you do on Donkey Kong! It’s a great game. Also, make sure you get a chance to see the movie “The King of Kong”. Rent it, or watchi it on the network G4 next month. You’ll learn a lot about it, and about it’s history.

Sorry, but the above link requires you to install some adware to use. I recommend not visiting the site. There are many other free online game sites out there that don’t make you use that crap.
yeah i saw the donkey kong show on g4 itwas kind of cool but it was sad in a cryey way because that one guy was kinda mean to that other oh and i have recently upgraded to windows xp but im still on a dial up connection thanks for info dude
Joshua, Enjoy DK. You’ll have to give it a try on a real cabinet someday. The controls make a huge difference, and nothing beats playing the real thing!
