@Matthew: Happy to hear you enjoyed this post. You'll have to email me some pics of your machine once you get everything done. As far as artwork goes, there's an interesting on-going discussion related to repro sideart right now on the Arcade Museum forums. Check out this link: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=204615. One guy on there can reprint the bezel artwork so you'll have to contact him. I've seen pics and they look great! Good Luck!

Loved this blog entry, I was just given a Time Pilot that needs some TLC, This blog entry has given me some great idea, and a source for a control panel overlay! (I think mine is actually in pretty good shape, but the plexi is so bad that I can't tell) I've got parts coming to repair the joystick (2 of the 4 switches were dead) Once I get it fully functional, it's cosmetics time!

Thanks!

I have a scorpion stinger dartboard with an rdp-01 motherboard and the strobe #1 which is the numbers 9, 14, 11,8,16 single, double, and triple plus the bull’s eye will not register. I tried the contact connection of the end connector of the matrix board but still no-go. If anyone has some other ideas I would surely try them out.

Lonnie: Congrats on your record. Also congrats on your 2nd place Tournament single score once that's official! I was finally able to watch a little bit of your play from the "Vintage Vault" last week. I would love to watch you play sometime and talk strategy. It's so much fun learning from you great players. Steve has taught me so much! I haven't been playing lately but now that winter is here I need to play some more. Please let me know the next time you're in the area!

I have 2 i'm working on. The one I got working just by re-soldering the Power supply pins. The other needs a Dram chip. When I put the working main cpu brd. in the one I get an error 13 code. Anyone got the codes. I had a factory manual years ago from a school that Merit gave at Belam Miami in the 80s but can't find it now.

@Brian, I don't have a number, but they sell cheap enough that I would buy quite a few. You could probably count them in the pics I have in my album. Buy the lock nuts to match. Remember there are two types of post. Fine threaded for receiving a nut under the playfield, and coarse threaded to screw directly into the playfield. Also buy plenty of bulbs. Buy enough to replace them all and you'll be happy you did. Good Luck!

Jeff,

I too recently got an ES, but bought it dis-assembled. Would you happen to know how many of the #6 posts and screws you needed to order?

Thanks!
